We have a whole lotta pistol squats going on here. For most people taking a first glance you just see a lot of pistol squats. However when you look closely you see a lot of different types of single leg squats. Now why is that? Not everyone is gonna be at the same level so we here at Steel Fox plan accordingly and have different levels of the same exercise. This is something I like to call body crosswords. It’s a tactic I use in my warmups to get people moving in different ways. Today we’re using agility ladders to get different movement and rhythm patterns squared a way. Our members stay killing it! Whether it’s inside or outside they are here working hard. Monday, Wednesday and Saturday we have outdoor classes and then Tuesday Thursday Friday the classes are indoors. If you are not a member and want to give it a try drop in for a free class and the only thing that you have to do is sign the waiver.

Single leg work, something that we try to incorporate in our programming as well as personal training. Here we have Sari showing some crazy single leg control in this combo exercise. This is a Single Leg Step down Single leg Deadlift March. Now Sari makes this very difficult exercise look really easy because of practice. Not only is this cool to do but having single leg strength and control can help prevent a multitude of injuries. If you want to help increase your single leg strength and control, sign up for classes which we have Monday through Saturday, or sign up for personal training!

Everyone who does Crossfit knows that even a week away feels like a month. In SteelFit small group training, I wasn't making any progress (on good days) or barely making it through (on bad days) That's where I was, ready to quit, when I started private training sessions with Ryan. He knows all his students' strengths and weaknesses. He noticed that I couldn't seem to heal some old injuries.
